Neil Ellis Cabernet Sauvignon 1995 - 89 Points
'Good deep red. Complex, Margaux-like aromas of current and violet, spice and mint. Firmly delineated, bright floral and berry flavours have penetrating quality and show a lovely light touch. Suave, bright, back end features very fine tannins and subtle finishing berry flavours.'

Neil Ellis Elgin Chardonnay 1997 - 87 Points
'Smoky oak, truffle and butterscotch currently overshadow soft citrua aromas. Fat, sweet and truffly in the mouth; rather Burgandian in texture. But currently displays less fruit than oak.'
