Origin: Single vineyard with site specific selected grapes within our Darling Hills vineyard.
Age of vines: 15 years.
Clone: Multi clonal planting on R99
Harvest date: 22nd February 2001
Yield: 4.5 tons/ha or 27 hl/ha
Fermentation: 100% Barrel fermented in French oak, 50% new. 70% Malolactic fermentation.
Maturation: Up to 10 months in barrels in which it fermented, with 100% batonage every 6 weeks.

Tasting note: Medium yellow gold. Herbaceous aromas with some nutty characters. Restrained savoury palate, with fresh grassy, gooseberry, biscuity flavours, and mineral acidity.
