Harvest date: Havesting commenced on the 26th of February 2002.
Yield: 2.75 tons/ha or 16 hl/ha
Harvest statistics: Harvested between 24.0şB TA 7.2 g/Litre pH 3.25
Vinification: 100% Barrel fermented, using 50% new and the balance in one-year old French oak (228 litre barriques). 40% Malolactic fermentation completed.
Maturation: 10 Months in the same barrels in which the wine fermented. 100% Lees stirring (batonage), every 4 weeks.

Analysis: Alcohol: 13.5 Vol% Residual sugar: 2.0 g/litre TA: 6.8 g/litre pH: 3.4
Tasting note: Light goldish green. Very youthful lime/melon aromas and some subdued oak. Pleasing ripe melon/tropical fruit flavours, restrained mineral edge with excellent length and elegance.
