Harvest date: Harvesting commenced on the 10th of February and carried through to the 24th of February 2004.
Yield: 7.0 tons/ha or 42 hl/ha
Harvest stats: Harvested between 22.0şB to 25.4şB, TA 8.8 g/litre, pH 3.2
Vinification: 80% Barrel fermented, using 30% new and the balance in 2nd and 3rd fill French oak. 30% Malolactic fermentation. 20% Tank fermented. No Malolactic.
Maturation: 9 Months in the same barrels in which the wine fermented. Lees stirring (batonage) every four weeks.
Bottled: Bottled in January 2005.
Analysis: Alcohol 13.0%, Residual sugar 3.0 g/litre, TA 6.1 g/litre, pH 3.4
Tasting note: Attractive green tints. Tight lemony/lime aromas with a touch of vanilla. Tight focused palate with citrussy fruit and an elegant long finish.
