Origin: Single vineyard with site-specific selected grapes within the Overberg district.
Variety: Chardonnay

Clone: Multi clonal planting on R99.
Harvest date: 22nd March 2002.
Yield: 40hl/ha
Fermentation: 100% Barrel fermanted in French oak, 50% new. 70% Malolactic fermentation.
Maturation: Up to 10 months in barrels in which it fermented, with 100% batonage every 6 weeks.
Bottling: December 2002.
Analysis: Alcohol 13.2 Vol percent;
Residual sugar 1.6 g/litre;
Total Acid 7.0 g/litre;
pH 3.2
Tasting note: Medium gold-yellow. Restrained lemony, nectarine-like aromas. Palate is tight and citrussy with some minerality and vibrant acidity.
