Harvest date: Harvesting commenced on the 11th of March 2004.
Yield: 5.3 tons/ha or 32 hl/ha
Harvest stats: Harvested between 23.0şB, TA 7.2 g/litre, pH 3.25
Vinification: 100% Barrel fermented, using 50% new and the balance in one-year old French oak. (228L Barriques) 40% Malolactic fermentation completed.
Maturation: 10 Months in the same barrels in which the wine fermented. 100% Lees stirring (batonage), every week.
Bottled: Bottled in December 2004
Analysis: Alcohol 13.0%, Residual sugar 2.0 g/litre, TA 6.3 g/litre, pH 3.4
Tasting note: Light goldish green. Very youthful lime/melon aromas and some subdued oak. Pleasing ripe melon/tropical fruit flavours, restrained mineral edged with excellent length and elegance.
