Clone: Multi clonal planting on R110.
Harvest date: 30th January 2006 - 23rd February 2006
Yield: 5.8 tons/ha or 35 hl/ha
Fermentation: The juice was handled reductively and left to settle for 3 days after which it was racked and inoculated to ferment at low temperatures. Left on the lees for 3 months before blending and bottling.
Bottled: Bottled in June 2006.
Analysis: Alcohol 13.5%; Residual sugar 1.5 g/litre; TA 6.8 g/litre; pH 3.35
Tasting note: Predominant flavours are those of tropical fruit with herbaceous overtones, whilst the overall impression is of elegance and delicacy with a long flavoursome finish.
