Harvest stats: Grapes harvested between 23.0şB;
Total Acid 7.2 g/litre;
pH 3.25
Vinification: 100% Barrel fermented, using 50% new and the balance in one-year old French oak. (500 l barrels). 40% Malolactic fermentation completed.
Maturation: 10 Months in the same barrels in which the wine fermented. 100% Lees stirring ( Batonage), every week.
Bottled: Bottled in December 2005
Analysis: Alcohol 13.5 percent;
Residual Sugar 2.0 g/litre;
Total Acid 5.8 g/litre;
pH 3.2
Tasting note: Light goldish green. Very youthful lime/ lemon aromas and some subdued oak. Pleasing ripe melon/ tropical fruit flavours, restrained mineral edge with excellent length and elegance.
